ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Unfortunately, This event has to be rescheduled to Sunday the 27th at 5pm. I made a very stupid oversight in scheduling it for this weekend.

I apologize for the confusion and last minute change, and I hope you'll all still be able to make it.

Sorry!

Jake

I've been really busy this year and I haven't seen a lot of you for a few months, and even more of you since GameStorm. I'd like to invite you all over for a big dinner on Sunday the 20th. Bring food and drinks to share, games you'd like to play and conversations you'd like to have. I'll be providing dishes, tables and chairs, a little food of my own and a nice warm house complete with a fire place. After dinner I'll happily run a game, and I'll make sure there's space for anyone else who wants to do so, or just hang out and chat till two in the morning.

What: The Go Play SE Portland End of the Year Wrap Up Feast.

When: Sunday, December 27th at 5pm

Who: Everyone

Where: Jake's House (PM for address)

Games offered: Taking requests, but eager to play Tulip Academy

This sounds super nice, Jake. I'm going to put in on my calendar and I hope to see lots of people. Smiley

(Though I don't think I'll be staying up until 2am on a Sunday night!)

This sounds fantastic.  I'll definitely try to make it up.  Any chance I could also crash that night at your place or with some other con goer?

I've never heard of Tulip Academy but I've been wanting to play a game so damn bad. Nick you should count me in and send me some info on the game.

If anyone's game, I will run FreeMarket. I have a printed out copy of the rules and printed out cards.

How long does it take to play? I'm thinking about attending, but it's going to take me a while to get home, and I have to work the next day.

I'll get back to you. I haven't actually finished reading the rules yet. My guess is 3-4 hours.

I'm in like Vicodin. No idea what that Tulip deal is. I'll offer Misspent Youth and My Life With Master, but only if interested folks speak up soon. I'm curious about FreeMarket.

the tulip academy's society for dangerous gentlemen is a game I'm currently working on. I'll post a little bit about it later today.
